Here are some tips to increase the lifespan of your clothes with the Westinghouse laundry range.
1. Using less detergent
Contrary to what we’ve been brought up believing, more detergent doesn’t equal cleaner clothes. The reality is that too much detergent will create more suds than you need, making your clothes harder to rinse and clean and leaving residue that damages your garments. 2. Set your dryer temperature lower
Everyone loves the feeling of freshly washed and dried garments, straight out of the dryer. But setting the temperature too high on your dryer can cause wear and tear. That’s why the Westinghouse EasyCare Dryers have been designed with the SensorDry function that detects moisture levels in your garments and automatically stops when the desired dryness is achieved. Not only will you protect your items and increase their lifespan, but you’ll save energy too.
3. Don’t overfill the machine
Squashing too many things into the washing machine can lead to items not washing properly, but doing partial laundry loads isn’t energy efficient. If you’re overfilling your machine, it might be time to size-up. The new range of Westinghouse EasyCare Vented Dryers have an Auto Cool-Down function that reduces wrinkling and leaves your load cool to touch when the program is finished - so you can still wear your outfit of choice, even if it’s only just finished drying.
